3、动词主要考6种时态,即一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时、过去进行时和现在完成时,对于动词的复习主要抓住每一时态的基本用法,以及和它们搭配的时间状语,其实仔细分析每个句子都能从字里行间找出hint（暗示）,不要贸然下笔,如：
1)、03年中考试选择动词的第1小题,It's rather hot today but the weather report says the temperature will fall to 280c tomorrow.此句用将来时,因tomorrow（明天）表示将来的时间状语.
2)、The old man has lost his wallet,he can't buy anything in the surpermarket.此句用现在完成时“has lost”,因为现在完成时的基本概念为“过去发生的动作对目前造成的影响和结果”,老人的钱包掉了,对现在的影响是不能买东西.
3)、The teacher told us that light travels much faster than sound.在宾语从句中,主句的动词是过去时,从句一般也要用过去时,但此句中的从句表示的是客观事实,就必须用一般现在时.

2)、形容词的比较级、最高级
单音节形容词后加er（比较级）,加est（最高级）；多音节形容词前加more+原级（比较级）,加most+原级（最高级）.
以y结尾的形容词改“y”为“i”加er,est.
重读闭音节只有一个辅音字母的形容词,双写这个辅音字母后,加er,est,如red,redder,reddest.
几个特殊的词good,better,best;bad,worse,worst;far,farther/further,farthest/furthest等.
两者比较时用比较级,三个以上的比较用最高级.
在The dresses in this shop are nicer than those in that shop.中,比较的另一方用those代替the dresses,“those”不能省去.
3)、现在完成时
结构：have/has+V.PP.
already用于现在完成时的肯定句中,而yet用于否定和疑问句中.
just用于现在完成时中,而jus tnow用于一般过去时中.
ever用于最高级中,never用于比较级中.如：It's the most interesting film I have ever seen. I have never seen a cleverer boy.
since+一点时间,for+一段时间,都用于现在完成时句型,都可用how long提问.
如：I have lived in Shanghai since I was born. I have lived in Shanghai for 20 years.How long have you lived in Shanghai?
4)、副词与副词的比较
由形容词+ly（后缀）构成副词.
形容词、副词同形有：fast,hard late early.
以“y”结尾的形容词,改“y”为“i”再+ly.如heavy,heavily
副词修饰动词时,放在这个动词后,但一些程度副词和时间副词要放在动词前.如,seldom, sometimes, rarely, hardly, always,often,usually,generally等.
副词修饰形容词或另一个副词时,放在这个词的前面.如very good,rather cold,quite well等.
副词的比较级和最高级与形容词的变法基本相同；还可以用as...as...,notas(so)...as...,特别要注意,He doesn't run as fast as I.在行为动词中,必须加助动词don't或doesn't来否定.
