教学目标:
1、通过学习活动Let’s learn,能准确、熟练地听说、认读本课动物单词 rabbit,monkey,dog,duck,panda,cat.
2、通过学习活动Let’s do,训练学生在Act like...的指令下模仿小动物的动作,巩固所学动物单词的名称.
3、在充满游戏性与趣味性的活动中,使学生体会到学习英语的快乐与成就感.
4、激发学生热爱大自然、关爱与保护动物的思想情感.
教学重点:进一步学习常见的几种动物:monkey,dog,duck,panda,cat,rabbit.
教学难点:panda,cat,rabbit这几个单词中a的发音.
教具准备:6种小动物的图片与单词卡片,6种小动物的头饰,多媒体课件,教学光盘.
1.Warm-up
(1)共唱歌曲How are you?
(2)Free talk 师生问候:
---- Good morning,A.
---- Good morning,Miss Wu.
---- How are you?
---- I'm fine,thank you.How are you?
---- Fine,thanks.
2.Presentation
(1)教学单词rabbit.
教师戴上小兔子的头饰,与学生打招呼:
T:Now I’m rabbit.Good morning.How are you?
Ss:Fine,thank you.
T:Nice to meet you.
Ss:Nice to meet you,too.
课件出示rabbit的图片,并描述:It is white.It has two long ears.
教师示范读,学生跟读,小组齐读,个别读.
T:Boys and girls.Can you act like a rabbit?
学生做出兔子跳的动作.
(2)教学单词duck.
a.教师在黑板上画duck的简笔画,问学生:Boys and girls.What's this?Do you know?你们认识它吗?它的叫声是怎样的呢?
b.课件出现duck的画面及叫声
T:Look at my mouth.Duck(注意元音字母u的发音).
教师示范读,学生跟读,小组齐读,个别读.
完成单词朗读后,学生做出鸭子嘴的动作.
(3)教学panda.
T:Hello.I'm an animal.I am black and white.What am
从谜语中引出单词panda.
教师示范读,学生跟读,小组齐读,个别读.
完成单词朗读后,学生做出熊猫眼的动作.
(4)播放狗的叫声,引出单词dog.同法教学cat.
教师示范读,学生跟读,小组齐读,个别读.
完成单词朗读后,学生做出狗耳朵、猫胡子的动作.
(5)图片展示猴子的形象并做简单介绍,学生能很快说出Monkey一词,并做出猴子的动作.
(6)教师展示动物园的图片,引导学生再次认读动物单词.
(7)教师播放Let's learn教学光盘,学生跟读,注意模仿语音正确、语调自然.
3.Practice 
(1)a.High and low voice.大小声读单词.教师轻声说一个单词,学生需大声朗读.教师大声说,学生则轻声说.
b.举一反三.教师读一遍,学生读三遍.
(2)Simon says.根据指令来做动作.如有Simon says则做出动作,反之则无.
(3)What’s missing?多媒体课件展示,每次都会有一个消失的动物,请学生找出这个动物.
(4)单词、图片配对.将图片贴在黑板上,请学生将单词卡贴在对应的图片下方.第二次则将单词先贴在黑板上,学生找出对应的图片贴上.
(5)小组活动:小动物打招呼.
T:Do you like animals?Now let’s act like animals and say hello to each other.
E.g.T:Hello.My name is rabbit.
S1:Hello.My name is dog.
T:Nice to meet you.
S1:Nice to meet you,too.
学生按例模仿,进行小组活动.
4.Consolidation and extension
(1)出示多媒体课件,让学生看图说出本课时所学单词.
(2)多媒体展示人与自然和谐相处的画面,揭示关爱动物、保护动物的思想内涵.
