我还记得王老师过去向我们介绍的那种方法.（that 在从句中作introduced 的宾语,该从句为定语从句）
I still remember the way that Mr Wang introduced himself to us.
我还记得王老师向我们作自我介绍的那种方式.introduced有宾语himself,帮引导词that 在从句中作状语,则该从句为方式状语从句.

看从句是不是缺成分
the way that he did从句he did缺宾语，则为定于从句

楼主如果不理解 可以看看这个例子 i still remember the day when i met my father 这里面你能说是时间状语从句吗 真的很荒谬 这里面仍然是when 引导的定语从句 按照习惯思维I still remember the way that Mr Wang introduced himself to us 这个句子里面way似乎要用how ，但是并不是这样的，要用that，不能用how。至于为什么，英语习惯问题。但是I still remember the way that Mr Wang introduced himself to us不是方式状语从句
