1.Once upon a time there was a farmer who worked hard in the fields every day.2.One day,while he was ploughing the fields,he heard a bumping sound.3.He saw a rabbit lying by the trump.He picked it up and found that it was a fat rabbit.4.He thought to himself,“Since it is so easy to get a rabbit like that,why should I work so hard all day long?” 5.He threw his hoe away and lay by the tree every day,dreaming for more rabbits to come.6.When he finally realized his foolishness and returned to his fields,he found that all his crops were dead.7.This story tells us that we should not wait for unexpected gains by trusting to chance and luck.8.Or,we should not hope to get rewards without hard work.
刻舟求剑
1.Once upon a time,there was a man who went out with a sword.2.One day,He wanted to cross a river in a boat.3.His sword fell into the water when he crossed the river.4.He hurriedly took out a small knife and made a mark on the side of the boat.5.“After the boat gets to the bank,” he said,“I’ll get down from here to look for my sword.”
