My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.
On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.
On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.
On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

The Origin of Chinese New Year
The Chinese New Year is now popularly known as the Spring Festival because it starts from the Begining of Spring (the first of the twenty-four terms in coodination with the changes of Nature). Its origin is too old to be traced. Several explanations are hanging around. All agree, however, that the word Nian, which in modern Chinese solely means "year", was originally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year.

一、探亲
中国人是重视亲情的，过年是出嫁女“回娘家”的好日子。丈夫陪同妻子、带着孩子回丈母娘家拜年是年初二的一道风景线。路上都是探亲的人群。过年了，家人有时间聚在一起，是情感交流的极好渠道。老舍说：
“人，即使活到八九十岁，有母亲便可以多少有点孩子气。失去了慈母便像花插在瓶子里，虽然还有色有香，却失去了根。有母亲的人，心里是安定的。”
女儿是母亲的贴心棉袄，丈夫陪妻子回娘家是妻子的最大幸福。丈母娘见到女儿过着幸福的生活，自然感到满足。亲情在过年时节是最放大的体现。
二、访友
出来工作外，各自为了生活打拼，朋友之间少有相聚的时候。中国人对于自己在读书时候相知相交的同学一般在春节时会聚一聚。虽然平时大家或者有电话来访，但难得春节大家都有空，所以很多的同学聚会选择在这个时候。同学们聚在一起，谈生活、谈工作、谈家庭，劳碌了一年的人们有了一个情感宣泄的对象。周作人在《关于尺牍》说：
“人生少年时初出来涉世交友，视朋友不甚爱惜也，及至足迹半天下，回想旧朋友，实觉其味深长。盖升沉显晦，聚散离合，转盼间恍如隔世，于极空极幻之中，七零八落，偶然乘下几个旧朋友在世，此旧物也，能不想杀，况此旧友实比新友之情深十倍耶。”
我觉得很好地反映了国人对友情的重视，对旧友的珍重。趁着大好的春节假期，联络感情，实为许多人开心的一大事情啊！
三、旅游
平时没有时间出外旅游，虽然在黄金周旅游的费用相对平时较高，一家人聚在一起去旅游也是很多家庭首选的事情。可以本地游，可以省内游，可以省外游，视乎自身的经济承受能力。
对于情人来说，趁此大好机会，增加彼此的认同感，同样是一极好方式；对于新婚夫妇来说，孩子还没有来到人世，没有小孩的羁绊，只有两人世界，在旅游中游山玩水，或去北方赏雪，新婚燕尔，共度蜜月，幸福如天上的神仙；对于一家三代的家庭来说，此情此景之家人齐旅游，让人感受家庭的温馨。旅游，是一个幸福的载体，载着亲人的幸福。幸福在哪里？就在一家人的其乐融融中！
四、逛街
新春佳节，百业兴旺。许多商场会趁此搞促销活动；当地政府为了增加过年气氛，会搞很多娱乐节目。一家大小出外逛街，也是过年时节很开心的事情。
所以，节日里的城区街道，一派喜气洋洋，人山人海；购物广场里，人们选购货物，一派幸福祥和的景象。如果你想观察人们的幸福表情，那么在商场中仔细留意，你就会发现，商场真是社会幸福缩影的极好展示。在这里，你会感觉人们的幸福，源自对美好生活的不断追求！

“少年壮年中年老年，各有他的时代，各有他的内容，不可互相侵犯，也不可颠倒错乱。最好的办法还是顺其自然，各得其所。北京有一首儿歌说得好，可以唱给诸公一听：
