第一句话是把城市比作光的海洋,不是把城市的灯比做海洋,所以就the city looks like a sea of lights.比较好.
至于第二句,翻译要对称,所以既然用了in the evening,后面最好就用in the day-time.至于原句中than后面的the lights可以用that替换,这样显得句子更加整洁,而且精练.所以第二句改写为the light in the evening is brighter than that in the day-time.
我人为第一句没啥问题,不过第二句有点怪~~~~~~~
光的话,是不可数名词吧~~~~
建议改为:The light in the evening are brighter than IT in the morning.
